    so there's been this PROCEDURAL GENERATION CHALLENGE monthly at the, uh, proceduralgeneration reddit, and this month's (started on the 11th and going until the 8th) challenge is PROCEDURAL VEGETATION

    so i'm thinking i might focus on that for the next month, insofar as i focus on any 3d stuff. plants is something i've wanted to do for aaaages, but i just... never actually got around to it. so: plants. based on l-systems, and ideally reactive to the environment around them. this might even end with me making some posts on my code tumblr, but, well, we'll see.

    oh yeah and today i spent like, a while outlining this coordinate-conversion function that still is nowhere near working, and then maybe ten minutes stitching together HELL GAME sex scenes, because that's a thing i can do now. i should do more of that, since like... it's comparatively effortless now.
