    i need to take things day-by-day and always remember that i have an actual goal that i'd like to accomplish, rather than sitting around noodling w/ ephemera forever.

    finishing a story is simple enough but finishing a program seems interminable. it's not really a matter of "oh well work harder", it's just... accept that a lot of my effort kind of gets poured into a bottomless hole? and i should maybe focus more on pouring effort into holes with bottoms. OR MAYBE IT JUST FEELS THAT WAY, BECAUSE I HAVE CHOSEN A BUNCH OF EXTREMELY LARGE, EXTREMELY DEEP HOLES. maybe this metaphor has gotten a little out of hand.

    listen: i just want a game where you can be a monster and you can fuck other monsters, and to not have it be a gross and tedious shitshow.
