so i got ahold of some old family recipes and one of those recipes is an authentic mincemeat recipe. not mincemeat pies, just like, if you want a giant pile of mincemeat. there's a recipe for mincemeat cookies too.
and when i saw a giant pile i mean it:
to answer some questions: that's 'pk' as in peck; karo is a corn syrup; yes that is doz as in dozen; and no i have no clue what mincemeat is supposed to taste like so 'season to taste' is pretty useless.
i'm kind of tempted to make it, just, what would i ever use it for.
