    also it's been two weeks since i've been sick, except my tonsils are still super swollen and if anything getting even more swollen. also exuding pus. which sucksssss but apparently that's just a thing that happens sometimes after viral infections.

    i'm hoping it gets better soon tho

      yeah, i've been doing saltwater gargles nightly, and it doesn't seem to HELP but also doesn't hurt.

      (i don't know if this is accurate but my understanding is a saltwater gargle is good for a bacterial infection, because it washes off food particles, sugars, carbs, etc that've accumulated, and the salt makes a more hostile environment for the infection since it dries things out slightly. but this is presumably a viral infection since that's what i was sick with, and i don't think viruses really have the same concerns.)
