posting feels weird now because it's like... what would i post about.
uh i've been doing this thing where i actually SET ALARMS and SCHEDULE WORK and i've been doing that for a few weeks now and it's been pretty helpful. i guess we'll see if my brain tries to sabotage me at some point.
hell game work is progressing. i finally got event state working, so now events can flip variables and check variables and all that stuff. it's... weird? i mean i guess i keep saying this, but as i finish more and more of the code and work becomes mostly "write actual content"... that's a whole separate thing? programming is super distinct from game design. and i'm pretty decent at programming, sure, but more and more i'm having to try to use my fledgling game design skills.
anyway it'll go, i guess. patreon is nearly at $60/m, which is actually like... real money. here i am doing all these things, and after like ten years basically having all my work just being... toiling in silence by myself and basically never getting or expecting any validation it's very weird to now be getting patreon bank emails, since nothing i'm DOING has changed, really, just the way it's FRAMED IN THE WORLD has. but also a lot has changed? scheduled work, steady work, actually finishing and fixing up a thing. adding polish.
idk things are weird. but that's life i guess.
