it's christmas and i'm up at seven after like four hours of sleep, woken by the implacable impulse to write vomit porn. more like patch up the existing vomit porn i guess.
i've been kinda taking a break from coding, which is nice i guess, except... i do this thing where i forget how clunky and low-level my geometry code is and i just want to build a city. listen. building a city is hard. like everything else, yr gonna be generating terrible cities for a while before you get to generating somewhat-decent cities. last time i was working on it, i was thinking about writing the code that would let me write the code that would generate archways. there's a ways to go. but i guess i should get back to that eventually.
(maybe i should just get minecraft working on the linux partition so i can play that at a whim over there, since i get the feeling that's actually been a major contributor to this new, uh, "work flow". like i said to somebody: i was like 'i'm going to take a break and not write anything and play minecraft', and then during the process of playing minecraft i ended up writing like 2k just from tabbing out, typing a paragraph, and going back to playing. when i end up writing more that way than when i'm trying to write says i got some serious Issues w/ the way i've been approaching, uh, basically everything? so idk.)
