let it leave me like a long breath

like i have been wanting to get back into posting on dreamwidth given the whole, you know, *gestures at social media collapse* but it is a little difficult to just post on a site that nobody else uses. the gamedev posts are mostly just for me and i link the fic prompt posts elsewhere but dreamwidth doesn't really have the 'social' part of social media'

which is unfortunate since it's like the only social media site i can think of that's actually a functioning business instead of a speculative VC-funded venture. dreamwidth doesn't have to pivot its funding model to make it look good for an IPO, etc. i just wish they surfaced the image-uploading functionality a little bit better.

oh yeah somebody pointed out my layout was basically illegible on mobile so i tweaked the layout a little to make it ~responsive~. i really should finish the layout at some point. or maybe entirely recode it given how old the layout is, at this point.
