let it leave me like a long breath

i kinda have problems with doing things. like both the "focus on things that are important to you that you want to work on" part and the "don't focus on the things that you don't care about" part. like oh right, i'm allowed to just not do a thing i don't like if it isn't really a thing that needs to be done. i'm allowed to arrange my life so that i'm doing more things i like and less things i don't like. shocking. weird.

life lessons! yeah sure life lessons i should have internalized like ten years ago but given that i can't go back in time i'm not exactly gonna drag my heels about learning them now.
