so stardew valley 1.1 came out and i started a new game! we'll see how this goes in terms of "spending all my free time playing minecraft" vs the new contender of "spending all my free time playing stardew valley."
also uh the thing with stardew valley is... i mean, i guess it's just the combination of its fundamental gameplay mechanics -- level up yr stats by use, date people, expand yr farm and yr understanding of the land -- but it's impossible for me to play it without, uh. turning it into a weird fetish thing. you know, lanky programmer nerd arrives on the bus, develops a connection w/ the forest, LABORS WHOLESOMELY ON THE FIELD, tans a few shades darker, grows giant muscles. progressively wears less clothes. probably all that forest magic give him a big weird gross dick, etc.
